Construction Update: September 3, 2026
Dear Neighbors,
We'd like to share an update on recent construction activities at 160 Freelon, where the project has moved into its finishing stage. On the exterior, the construction team has been working from a suspended platform along the east side of the building to close up the openings left behind by the scaffold beams. Once that section is finished, the platform will move to the north end of the east-facing wall to complete the same work there. We also removed the scaffolding at the south side of the first floor and began excavation for the building's final water line connection; that work continues next week.
Inside, work is moving steadily floor by floor. Crews
are painting interiors and installing appliances. Meanwhile, mechanical crews are continuing duct work and piping above the roof which will resume next week.
What This Means for You:
Miscellaneous deliveries will continue throughout the coming week.
The site will be noticeably quieter on Friday, September 4, as most trades take a scheduled day off before the Labor Day long weekend.
