Dear Neighbors,
This past week, the construction team, Cahill Guzman Joint Venture, continued progress on the first-floor mat slab. Crews are continuing to install rebar, piping, and formwork through the end of the week in preparation for the Saturday, October 25 mat slab pour. This will be one of the project’s largest pours—approximately 2,000 cubic yards of concrete placed in a single day. To allow the concrete to dry over the course of the day, this work is scheduled between the hours of 3:00AM - 5:00PM. This activity may be pushed to Sunday, October 16 in the event that unforeseen weather conditions prevent the pour on Saturday.
This work is required to be performed at night because obstruction and interference with traffic on Bryant Street is not acceptable during the weekdays due to its proximity to
Highway 80.
