Project Update: Early Construction Preparation at 160 Freelon

Dear Neighbor,

Early construction work has begun! Last week, 160 Freelon completed pad prepping activities necessary to install test piles, including asphalt and concrete removal and soil compaction. This week, 160 Freelon will conduct test auger cast pile drilling from Tuesday 5/13 through Friday 5/16.

Throughout this work, you can expect teams on site conducting drilling, soil off-haul and pile testing. Actual construction will commence at the beginning of June. Below is a schedule look-ahead.

Late April/Early May 2025 Construction Start

Winter 2026 City’s DAHLIA Program Lottery Process Opens for Applications

Spring 2027 Lease Up Start

Summer 2027 Construction Completion & Grand Opening
