Dear Neighbors,
We’d like to share an update on recent construction activities at 160 Freelon.
This past week, (September 28–October 4), the construction team, Cahill Guzman Joint Venture, was busy installing rebar and conducting the first concrete pour for the first-floor slab. The team is working diligently to place the remaining concrete before rainy weather arrives.
A mobile crane is now on site. This will allow electricians and plumbers to begin installing pipes this week.
What does this mean for you?
The mobile crane will remain on site through Tuesday, October 7, and will return once the construction team begin installing the mat slab top mat rebar.
Expect recurring deliveries of construction material over the next several weeks as structural work progresses.
If you notice any construction vehicles parked on Freelon or Welsh, you are encouraged to reach out so the team can address it right away.
Thank You for Your Patience
We want to thank the neighbors who may have been affected by the late-night PG&E work earlier this week. While the construction team does not control PG&E’s schedule, we’re pleased to share that PG&E power has now been connected to a temporary switch gear on site. This allows us to plug directly into the grid, reducing noise by eliminating the need for generators to run equipment.
